Shantel was an amazing Doula! We'd planned to meet about 2 weeks before my due date...well, baby came early, so we actually met in the hospital. After talking with her for a few minutes, I felt like I'd known her for years. She really helped calm me and my partner and helped him focus on helping me. She gave great advice, and we discussed and formulated a birth plan on the spot. Shantel was with us every step of the way - from induction to delivery and then for a while after (she made sure I was feeling good after delivery and insisted that I get some food! Very caring.)
Her coaching skills are on point, she's a mother herself, so she knew just what I needed to have a relaxed and comfortable birthing experience. I can't say enough about how much she helped us. I'd recommend Shantel to every expectant mother - she helped me worry less about complications and really embrace bringing my son into the world. We cannot thank you enough, Shantel!
